The hotel was spotless with extremely friendly and excellent co-operating staff on the reception desk. Nicely decorated and great-sized room with a view was enjoyable. This gorgeous and special property had a central setting almost in the fortress. I found there plenty of restaurants to eat, like Trattoria la Fiasca that is only 10 minutes' walk away.

Gorgeous hotel, the staff were all welcoming and amazingly nice and the location was magnificent in the centre of the town. I've been here for 1 night, the breakfast was overall marvellous with a breathtaking view across Lago di Garda.
Views were pretty average.

The Hotel was very nice, luxurious, and in a great location on the waterfront and part of the old town portion of Sirmione. All the restaurants and shopping were within an easy walk. The room was quite spacious, well appointed, and had a great view of the lake. The bathroom was also spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were nice and very helpful.
The swimming pool was a bit too warm for a hot summer day. The air quality was poor, which is not the Hotel's fault, but you really couldn't see the mountains (Alps) which were at the other end of the lake. This was disappointing for such a nice location. Perhaps the air quality is better in spring than summer.

pleasant stay but minor issues
The location is fantastic, with amazing views, made our mornings good. The spa access was a wonderful perk.
The classic double room did not have enough space for our luggage.

This Hotel is situated adjacent to the main pier, and is ideal as a base for trips to the different towns/villages around the lake. It is within walking distance from the Bus Stop. We flew into Verona Airport, and took the aerBus to the Station in Verona, crossed the road, and got the Brecia bus, no. 26 from stop no. 21, which stops in Sirmione, very near to this Hotel. (Easy walking distance - 3/4 minutes) We also stayed there last year, and would have no hesitation in staying there again. The Breakfasts are excellent, and the quality of the dinner there this year was excellent, however a bit expensive (€50 per person) However, we also had the option to dine in other adjecent restaurants, all of which are very good, and you can spend as much or as little as you wish . We usually stay in the Hotel on a b&b basis, which gives us options for lunch and dinner. The Staff are polite and very helpful, and in the hot afternoon and evening we found the front Garden overlooking the pier very restful, and shady in the hot sun., We sat out with a drink or Coffee or icecream, which was very pleasant indeed, and watched the boats calling in to the pier. Lunch can also be had in this garden, and if the evening is fine, also dinner. At the end of our holiday, there is a buggy which will take you and your cases to the bus Station, a three minute walk away, but very welcome at the end of an eventful holiday. We hope to stay there again next year.
This is a beautiful hotel, but it is expensive, although worth it. I feel the Dinner at night is expensive, but we had three dinners there, and the food quality and ambience was excellent. The Dining Room Staff are courteous. the bedrooms in the Annexe are ok, we stayed downstairs last year with a very dark patio, but we were on the first floor this year which was much better. However the rooms are extremely clean and the bedroom staff very courteous.

Room noise starting at 5 a.m. from the loading and unloading of the hotel's service needs right under the windows!
